STORY: Unfolding Pom Pom Quarterly

by Yuliya Tkacheva
(MsWeaver on Ravelry)

Last week I received my contributor copy of Spring 2016 Pom Pom Quarterly magazine and it is... precious! Printed on heavy matte paper, beautifully laid out and with great photography, it oozes chic and sophistication. And there is nothing like the scent of a freshly printed magazine!

Inside is my latest cowl design:

Crochet post-stitches create a three-dimensional texture on both sides of the cowl resembling an unfolded sheet of paper (hence the name!).

This pattern is available as part of Pom Pom Spring 2016 issue, which can be purchased from the publisher's website. You can have a better look at the photos of Unfold, as well as the other eight gorgeous designs included in this issue on Ravelry.

CROCHET-A-LONG: Bright Flowers and Cheerful Polka Dots

We have got two CALs running in the "Cup of Stitches" group on Ravelry! Both are bright and colorful and will cheer you up during these last winter days.

When Skies Are Grey is a motif rug by Yuliya (more details here) and Giraffic Day is a polka dots cowl by Lena (more details here).

Both designs make use of spike single crochet stitches. Here is a tutorial, if you are not familiar with these stitches yet.

Everyone who finish their project before March 2, 2015, will receive a gift coupon code for a pattern from either of our stores (Lena's or Yuliya's).

Welcome!
