LAYOUT DIAGRAMS (3x3 motifs)

1. Original motif layout (left).

2. Make it look like a flower again by working additional motifs in the different colors (right).

3. Colorful geometry: work the opposite petals of each flower in a different color (left).

4. Gradient layout! Choose two sets of three colors from light to dark and alternate them in such manner: motif #1 uses colors from light to dark in each petal, and from dark to light in space squares between the petals. Motif #2 is worked in th same manner but the color sets are switched (right).
